Djalenga graduated from the Italia Conti Academy of Performing Arts and went straight into the West End production of JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOUR DREAMCOAT. She then joined Craig Revel-Horwood’s West End production of BEAUTIFUL AND DAMNED at the Lyric Theatre before joining the West End cast of CHICAGO at the Adelphi Theatre.
Djalenga has toured Europe playing Carmen Diaz in FAME and Magenta in THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW, she has also toured the UK with FLASHDANCE where she originated the role of Jazmin and was alternate to the lead role of Alex Owens, she played Anita in WEST SIDE STORY and Lily St. Regis in ANNIE, which transferred to the Piccadilly Theatre in London with Miranda Hart as Miss Hannigan.
Djalenga played Brooke in NOISES OFF at Birmingham Repertory Theatre and she played Harley Quinn in the US Arena Tour of BATMAN LIVE performing to 20,000 seater venues including Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas and the Staples Center in Los Angeles. She played Rizzo in GREASE at Leicester Curve/Dubai, workshopped the role of Lynette for Curve’s production of AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN, and she played Bombalurina in the first original UK revival of CATS at Kilworth House Theatre.
Djalenga has also appeared in pantomimes in Wimbledon, Liverpool, Milton Keynes and Woking, music videos for Beverley Knight, television commercials for Optimax, Yoplait, Prudential and she has worked on Feature Films and Television including Oliver Stone’s Alexander, I Give It a Year with Anna Farris and Rose Byrne, Beast with Jesse Buckley and as Esme/Scarlett in Trapped Ever After!
